Marriage and Mid-Twenties..

It has been long awaited, and the beautiful day has come and gone. Jenna and Jesse are officially Husband and Wife. Married. Together Forever. Legally. And it was an incredible celebration of their love and the love of all those around them.

Their rehearsal dinner was held at the Munson Family Cottages in Cape Enrage, NB. This is Jenna's favorite place in the world, and is also the spot where Jesse proposed. It was very special. The location is picturesque to begin with but the food, the decor, the family and friends made it a fantastic night.

The cottages are up high looking over the Bay of Fundy. There was a sunset. I'm telling you it was perfect.

And this was just the rehearsal dinner!

The bridal party and Naomi and Jordan (good friends of the couples and the incredible singer of "Make You Feel My Love" during the ceremony) all stayed for the night after way too much food and way too much fun.

At the cottage Jenna gave us ladies gifts for being in the bridal party which included adorable necklaces, journals, hand made Kimono's and hand made clutches. She also gave us an extremely thorough information packet and we all showed up on the Friday at her parent's house with all these things in toe. Especially the info packet.

The following Friday after the wedding was Jenna's 25th Birthday. Which is a Big One! She was saying how she wasn't feeling any different and that perhaps the excitement of Birthday's was starting to fade away. Jesse concluded it was just a "Wedding Hang Over".

25 seems like such an exciting year! And it's kind of surreal that we're all at the age now! Well, I will be in a little over a Month. It seems like just yesterday I was celebrating my 19th Birthday at StFX. A LOT has changed since those days, especially US.

The Newlyweds/Birthday Girl

7 of Us went to dinner at a cute Italian place called Pastelli's in Moncton, then back to her parent's house for Cake and then to the Movies to see The Dark Knight Rises!

During Dinner we started chatting about how now that we've all had close friends to us get married, been in a few wedding parties, or gotten married ourselves, it starts to really become apparent how important these events truly are. The little things we do to help and be there through the process really mean a lot.

Soon enough we'll all be married and the next wave will be babies.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

So the wedding is complete and Jenna is 25! Guess what that means? They are going on their Honeymoon! And it was a super secret mystery that Jesse has planned for Jenna and she was very excited when she found out they were going to Greece!! And you know what a honeymoon means? K and I get to Doggie-sit the big guy while they're gone! That's right! JUDE IS HERE!!

Bocce, Puzzles and What They Call "Golf"...

A few weeks back My Main Man, K, had a week of vacation which was super exciting because that meant we would have two straight days off together, since mine are usually during the week! So we decided we'd try and knock some things off my bucket list and head to the Fundy area!

We had BIG plans! Big ones. Which we always do. Or at least I always do. We planned on golfing (my first ever experience), then hiking, then checking out the Hopewell Rocks on our way back from Fundy.

So we went golfing. We decided 9 holes would be sufficient for this time around. My sisters husband is an amazing golfer and loves the sport, as do my sister and K, so I'm sure they would have all done 18, but 9 seemed like a good start so we could continue on with our activities afterward.

The golf game was a success I thought! It was definitely frustrating at times but after the experience I'd say I'd do it again! We let a few groups pass us cause we were taking a longer time. Most likely due to my 16 shots a hole. Apparently taking 4 hours for 9 holes is a long time.

So after 4 hours for 9 holes of golf, under some pretty serious heat and sun we were all completely wiped out. So we called it a day and headed home! I always try and say I've learned my lesson but I do the same thing all the time. Make big plans, have big expectations of what will happen or get done and it usually doesn't all happen! It was a fantastic day don't get me wrong, it was super fun to try something new and spend time with K and Lindsay and Mike, but it was a very familiar feeling of not quite being what I had thought it would be!

It's kind of like New Years Eve. I've given up on having any expectations about how awesome it's going to be. Because it's usually not.

Anyhow, the day before we spent the day hanging by K's parents' pool and his parents, myself and K's little sister got into a serious game of Bocce Ball - Which is in fact on my bucket list! I love bocce ball. Morgan and I won in an epic comeback from 7 - 1!

Just the other day K and I made a serious trip to Walmart and came back with some supplies to continue checking some things off my bucket list and for general good times. These items included; a serious pack of bubbles with many different wands (kazoo included which I was way too excited about for a 24 year old), a package of sidewalk chalk, Popsicle making supplies, and a 1500 piece puzzle!

We immediately started on the puzzle and in an hour or so we had completed the outside wall.. then we realized that's the easiest bit.

We've now started to try and organize the rest of the peices and work on certain sections but even that's hard to tackle! And yes, on my bucket list is was a 1000 piece puzzle that I wanted to complete but this was the sweetest picture and we figured as a team 1500 piece is totally do-able. We were very close to getting a puzzle with a picture of Dogs dressed up as firefighters though. Who doesn't love fire-fighting dogs?

K has become very invested in this puzzle. I've been told I can't do too much work on it without him.

We also swung by my parent place that night to pick up the Trick/STUNT Kite I bought a few years ago that I have never been able to get off the ground for  more than 4 seconds but am determined to acquire the Stunt Kite skill. If I do I may have to create a badge for myself. Like the good 'ole Girl Guide days.

Needless to say, I've got lots of child-like-bucklet-list activities coming up in the future, and I can't wait.
