I purchased a Canon Rebel T3 during Boxing Day sales as I've always
wanted one and I especially wanted one before my potential move to
London next fall.
I quickly went out and
purchases a Canon Rebel T3 for Dummies book (I'll admit I am a "Dummie")
as well and have been working my way through it and learning A LOT!
It will be a slow and most likely life-long process to learn how to use
it and experimenting as much as possible but it's fun and I'm loving it
so far! I've always loved painting and thought this might be a way to
take amateur photos for artwork purposes and for painting example
purposes!
So I'll share a few of the shots
I've taken that I felt were successes so far - it's okay if you don't
agree but here's where I'm at so far with my skills and I hope to show
you some more photos soon!

I've realized that snow is difficult to photograph and I haven't figured out the ideal settings just yet..
